Rare-Earth Intensifying
Screens
Rarex-Blue
Intex Rarex-Blue in an ultra speed x-ray
intensifying screen utilizing rare-earth phosphors. The rich blue
components of the light output makes this screen particularly well suited
for use with blue sensitive film. Rarex-Blue is available in Blue III
(800), Blue-Fast Detail (400) and Blue-Detail (100) Blue-Rapid (1000).
Intex
Rarex-Green intensifying screens are primarily
intended for use with orthochromatic or green sensitive x-ray film. This
screens is highly recommended for all general radiographic procedures,
providing an optimum mixture of dosage reduction and image quality.
Rarex-Green is available in Green-Fast (600), Green Regular (400), Green Medium
(200) and Green Fine (100).
Intex Optex intensifying screens employ carefully controlled calcium tungstate phosphors which exhibit a more linear response over a broader kVp range. This screen is recommended for general radiography providing an efficient balance of speed and image quality. Optex is available in High-Plus (200), Medium (100) and Detail (50).
Valumax
cassettes are made with thin aluminum frame for easier handling,
yet tough and durable for year's of continued use. Lead-lined aluminum
door minimizes back-scatter secondary radiation with a unique finger-tip
opening. I.D. window is available as an option.
